Draft plus UDFA's (addressing needs) plus Vets. How strong will we be and will the Pat's be ready for a SB push?

After Vrabel collapses this winter we should get rid of him and bring back Bill.

Me too. And how the rest of this season plays out.

Pats are good now and will be even better next year.

If you’re watching the Vols Vandy game, WR Chris Brazzell is a beast. Speed, size, and hands

We have a great chance to repeat in 26

Me too. Except for the Sunday and Monday night games.. I'm up early for work so it sucks the next day.. have a feel we'll be on plenty more prime time games next season. I think we can say they have put themselves in a position with a 2nd year QB, a evolving roster and plenty of cap space for next season.

The coaching staff has learned who are the guys they can count on and will be part of what Vrabel is doing going forward. Here's what I'm thinking..

Draft- Edge, ILB, OT, OG, Safety TE

FA adding by trade or signing a bonfide

Edge rusher.. Thibiduaux fits the bill.

Add a WR to the current group we have.
Add a TE a move TE that has wr like skills..

We need to round out the roster and strengthen the depth at important positions.

However we get them, the list you show for draft is most important. I would add FB and want a blocking TE. I want a run game.

Agreed. I'm definitely eager to see how the rest of the season goes ( hopefully a long playoff run) but yeah FB definitely.. I believe we drafted one ? Larison? We have good backs.. the OL just hasn't been able to open up holes consistently enough in the run game this season..

Since SBB has blocked everyone, I’m going to help him out and share what he posted. He’d like for Vrabel to get fired and have Bob bring BB back.

The pats can cut Tavai, Jennings, Elliss & Gibson and get to 65M in effective cap space. That doesn't include cutting or extending Onwenu. The pats will also be an attractive FA destination. There are multiple options both at EDGE - Phillips, Ossai & LB - Chenal, Dean to fill these holes pre-draft and for the long term. They would then have 11 draft picks to fortify the OL & potentially add a WR1 via the draft or trade.

Imagine this current pats team with AJ Brown as WR1, upgrades at LG, C (Wilson moving to C), EDGE & LB. They would probably be the super bowl favorites while the other AFC contenders enter rebuilds.

Chiefs -$61M effective cap space, Kelce retires, Chenal, Watson & Cook FAs, Chris Jones 32 years old
Bills -$12M effective cap space. 0 All Pro players outside of Allen.
Ravens are weak in both trenches and key players in Stanley, Andrews & Humphrey are starting to decline

Obviously enjoy this season. 2026 could be even better.

I like what your thinking.. but 65 million cutting those players? Tavai, Gibson and Ellis, Jennings are all on team friendly contracts i think if you looped in onwenu contract then maybe?

Adding Kavon Thibiduaux at edge along with another rusher.. with Chaisson will really impact the edge and make this defense ferocious up front.. I also believe c. Davis will be better in year 2..at CB
