I got the Fire Stick and got Sunday Ticket through that this last season.

Yes it is available through Direct TV but only if Direct TV is not available in your area. You can get every game except the games that are on local TV, ESPN, TNF and SNF, etc. But if you want to watch it on TV you need to get an Xbox, PS4, Amazon firestick, etc. Otherwise, you can just watch it on your computer.

Red Zone.

I’ve received Sunday ticket for free the last 5 seasons. The key is talking to directv retention and telling them you want to leave (even if under contract). You may even have to schedule a cancellation. But they will come around. They typically offer free Ticket and a monthly $40 credit.

You can buy a simple adapter at the Apple store that plugs into your phone and then into one of the USB ports on your TV. It costs about 50 bucks.

I’ve been doing it this way for years with the Sunday Ticket to go plan, and I’m pretty sure that’s available for anyone who wishes to pay for it, whether you have access to the physical dish or not. I have plenty of people in my neighborhood who have Directv but I don’t want that eyesore of a dish on the side of my house (snobby but honest), so I just pay for the online service, instead.

The USB to iPhone adapter obviously comes in handy for any other stuff like watching YouTube or movies rented from iTunes on your TV, too. They also make one that will connect your laptop or iPad to the TV via USB, as well.

All I can say is that the international Gamepass via VPN is not a good solution anymore. It was never particularly cheap but the service had been outstanding since 2011 until they changed platforms (and outsourced it to some company) last year.

I’m sorry. I said USB when I meant HDMI, but either way, you can use a simple HDMI cable that plugs into a port on your television. That’s obviously the point. Just wanted to clarify and be more specific since someone bumped the thread and I re-read my comment.

Any questions or anything, feel free to throw me a PM.

Agreed - if you flat out cancel Direct TV after your contract expires, you are guaranteed to get a call from someone who will offer an awesome deal within a couple days.

That said, I switched from Direct TV to just using the NFL APP (Game Pass 99$ for the season) on Apple TV and watching the games later in the day.

How long after a game ends does it become available on GamePass?

I purchased the NFL Sunday Ticket student package. $99 for the online version of Sunday Ticket and $50 for GamePass. You have to prove that you are a student by showing a student ID, I used my coworker's daugther's ID.

LOL yeah I just used my old UNF email address.

The full game is up there a couple minutes after the game ends and the condensed and coaches film versions take a few hours I believe.

Really? That’s all it takes? Wish I had heard of this before.
That’s all it took for me. I’m sure it won’t accept that anymore after a few years and I’ll have to pay full price but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.

Go to any BestBuy store or Walmarts and purchase a Chromecast devise for about $35. Then using Chrome as your browser on PC, Laptop, or Tablet, click on to sportsarefree.xyz which last season streamed live each and every NFL game. Then just cast whatever you're watching from your online source to the TV to which you've attached the Chromecast device. It worked absolutely great for me this past season.

I don't live in an area where I am UNABLE to get DirecTV. So, I am stuck with DTV. I call to cancel every year...and try to get Sunday Ticket free....it seems to work every other year for me (2 year contracts at a time with the 1st being free). The price tag will be $450ish for the 2018 season. However, I get Redzone with that WITHOUT upgrading my sports package which saves me about $5 monthly all year or $60 a year. And since I live in San Diego...I factor the $450 vs. the cost of gas to go to/from the sports bar, the food/drinks I order, and increase in sports package (I would have to buy redzone separately). I spend at least $30 every time I go to a bar even if I don't drink beer ($20 all you can eat buffet, pepsi, tax, and tip) and the Pats are not on national TV for at least 10 games a year = $300 at the bar...plus driving back/forth at $3/gallon...I spend $60 just on gas...plus having to pay $60 for Redzone. It's close now....$420 vs. $450....but going to the bar means I have to leave the house at 6:45AM ish so I can grab a prime seat by 7:15-7:30AM when the bar opens...and sit there for 2 hours doing my FFL line ups, reading the news, and eat breakfast.... vs. just rolling out of bed at 8:30AM...cooking a big breakfast...and watching the game at home with my good luck pup! Tough call...
