I couldn't stand it when Carrol was here. His freakin happy happy joy joy demeanor at press conferences drove me nuts. I hate so called "Players coaches". He inherited a suberbowl team and managed to make it worse every freaking year he was here.

Bobby Grier lent a big helping hand but when I heard Scott Wahle report from TC in 97 saying "The players love Pete Carroll" I knew we were screwed right then and there.

No one said that about Tuna.

Clearly Pete has evolved into a leader but he was a buddy - not a manager of men back then

My 2/3rds-time analysis:

- Russell Wilson is way off, despite his OL playing their 2nd best game of the season (best game was against us, as we know)
- Lions needs to figure out how to stop the run
- Lions move the ball on Seattle pretty well, they need points
- A team from Detroit having a white RB is so Make America Great Again I don't even know where to begin

Hm? Pete built that team. Personally I find his antics amusing and it works for his team. He's one of the best in the game, very nearly won back to back SBs.

I thought Parcells built the team Carrol inherited. Then by the time Carrol left wasn't like half our salary cap tied up in a horrid offensive line? Max Lane and co. Drafting guys like Criss Canty? Letting Terry Glenn become a prima donna. Signing Bledsoe to a freakin 100 million dollar contract second only to Farve? I was happy the day they got rid of Carrol.
