Ted Johnson sounds and looks great. We were worried about his concussion issues when he stepped forward years ago and sued the medical staff. He took a lot criticism, but was right to come forward.

I agree with Ted even if Brady doesn't end up winning number 5. I still can't believe he took that 2006 team as far as he did. His offensive weapons were a joke that year and they probably would have beat the Bears if they didn't run outta gas in Indy.

I haven't heard Ted Johnson's name since he went after Wilfork's wife. Wonder what it was like when they crossed paths.

I've often said the same exact thing. Our guys were on the sidelines getting IV's by the end of the Indy AFCCG. Don Davis as a Safety? C'mon. LOL Ah well. Brady is the reluctant GOAT. People are always going to want to chalk his success up to something diabolical or shady or lucky. Ray Lewis said we wouldn't even know him without the tuck rule. As if everything that has happened would never have existed henceforth had that not happened. Really? That's what people outside of Pats Nation are always going to want to believe. F- em.

We shouldn't be too critical of another market's media. We've got Tanguay, Squeaky, Douche and Borges talking pro football every week.

I'll probably regret writing this, but Volin seems to be evolving. It looks like he's learning to stop watching TV and actually calling sources for info in his reports. He has one of the most revered pieces of sports real estate in the weekly On Football Globe page. He needs to keep working to measure up to his predecessors and the guys writing the other three sports' full-page Sunday columns.

While I'm on this topic, I want to mention how much I appreciate Jim McBride's weekly gameday assessment.

Id say it's almost certain their paths have crossed since Johnson is covering the team now. Maybe head injuries make you say really dumb things. Idk.
