Some in-depth analysis by Lazar pre-Combine. But no surprises - in his view only Hunter is worth a top-5 pick. McMillan a top-15 pick. Burden could be there for us on day 2.

Lazar's NFL Draft Tiers: A Pre-Combine Ranking of the Wide Receiver Class

Was eerily watching a lot on Golden earlier, now this thread focus reminds me of when smartphones pick up on conversations and spit out targeted ads.

As it lands now not sure they check out where Golden will likely be picked in the draft, but if you like a guy and are full of conviction there can usually be a way to grab them.

I like him a lot, if he's there in the 2nd round, I take him, even if we manage to get Hunter at 4 (Then he can play CB and 10 snaps a game at receiver).
I think we’d have to move back into Rd 1. Most of what I’m reading is that he’s expected to go mid to late Rd 1. Move back a bit, get some picks, and get our tackle. Then move back into Rd 1 to get Golden.

Cam not being top 5 worthy is just stupid

The Matthew Golden comp is Deion Branch. Sounds good to me.
Its a good comparison in Terms of route running, but Golden is 6’ to Branch 5’9, and Golden runs a sub 4. 40 to Branch 4.47. Most comps for Golden are Stefon Diggs.

Golden is the WR I want most in this class, but they will have to trade up to get him.

Quote from Lazar on Burden "Still, his early breakout, film, and college production easily make Burden a top-20 talent in this class."
I haven't seen anyone have Burden getting to round 2. He generally is expected to go right around 20. He'd be worth trading up for if he slips to bottom of round 1.

If Hunter is gone and an opportunity is there to trade down then yeah, take it. Get a solid tackle prospect and have ammo to grab a solid receiver with a move up into the late 1st. The defense will be easier to patch up via free agency.
