Your take may not be wrong, but let’s consider the consequences here. Legally (and many would argue that morally as well), the law is built on the concept of foreseeable risks. In other words, if you walk into a run and tug parlor, a reasonable person would be taking a risk that s/he is engaging in illegal prostitution, but a reasonable person would not likely (and the actual charge against Kraft speaks to this) know they are also engaging in, supporting, or committing a higher crime involving human trafficking.

I disagree that a reasonable person would not know there's an excellent chance the women that spa were being trafficked. Especially after already having gone there a previous time. Especially after such a spa in Newton -- next door to Brookline, where Kraft lives in MA -- was busted for trafficking in the past couple of years.

I will agree with you that he shouldn't have any legal liability re: trafficking. But he should have known that there was a really good chance the women in that joint were being trafficked, so IMHO he bears some moral/ethical responsibility to have done better and should be criticized heavily to that end.

Did he have a habit of visiting these places? If he wasn't caught, then the slave ring would have never made national news. That is the disgrace of all this.

After a few minutesm the female wiped the male in the area of his genitals with a white towel. At approximately 1113hrs, Male 12 left.

I don't have a site. I actually read about the Clippers on the net. What they were saying was that leagues hold owners responsible in other leagues except for the NFL. The point was that what Kraft alleging did was worse than the Clippers owner who made a racist comment and the NBA forced him to sell. So Kraft should get a greater punishment if he is found guilty than the Clippers owner.
