Here is an article from Philly on Brad Childress. It's from Training Camp but still gives a good background on the Vikings head coach. Childress was the Eagles O-Coordinator for all of Andy Reid's tenure up until he left.

Good short read...not to derail the thread, but I never knew about the demand by TO that Childress only talk to him if TO had addressed him first. UN-believable!

The minute a player said something like that to a coach I would can him right then and there. I don't care how good he is or how much he is paid.

Childress said he's looking for about a 60-40 pass-run split, which is pretty much the same thing Reid has been saying. But Childress says it a little more earnestly.

"If you say 50-50, you're probably horse[bleep] at both," he said. "I know that's a nice thing to say, that you'd like to be 50-50. I'd like to be president of the United States, too."

Interesting perspective, we'll have to see how the offense works out this season for the Pats.
