This afternoon on Moving the Chains, his Sirius/XM NFL Radio show, Pat Kirwan gave some fairly solid reasons as to why he thinks the Patriots will win comfortably on Saturday night.
He focused on the recent game adjustments, BB being able to make more adjustments based on what he thinks the Broncos will do to counter those adjustments from the last game, and not having to deviate from his "normal" defensive principles like the Steelers felt they had to do (cover 0, both safeties up close with corners 1 on 1, etc). Instead, Kirwan said, the Pats will play gap-sound odd fronts and can be a little more free with their OLB's with Spikes and Chung's return.
This surprised me because his on air opinions are usually pretty close to his online thoughts. On air he doesn't seem to "take a side" for the sake of it. (Are you listening local media?)
