He hasn't been dangerous passing on the run, but he escaped often and ran for positive yardage last time.

Big factor is, when he was kept in the pocket he was being deflected like we were paddles on a pinball machine. At least 2-3 plays should or could have been interceptions. Let our pass rush feast on him and have zero escapes for first downs and just let Chandler, Hicks and Branch swat balls all day.

This is a great week to let the defense win one and play conservative on offense, if that happens.

i will say, though- i LOVE when fitzpatrick tucks to run. has no ability whatsoever to keep his eyes upfield. once he even considers running, the play is over.

For a first down.

10 years and over 10K posts...hmmm....I hereby cede all my posting rights to you, Patjew. I really have nothing to add to this site that can't be covered better by you.

He's really impressed me this season. I think he's as tough as nails. He's prone to errors, I believe, at times when his heart tells him, "You can make this throw" and then his head asks him, "What the f### were you thinking?" I hate the Jets, but he's pretty good.

Jests fans seen very confident about tomorrow because of our team being banged up. We will see. This offensive line has to step it up.

I think the Pats D has to hold them for Pats to have a chance for a victory. But yea, if the OL can give TB a few extra seconds then anything is possible.

My friend, we all know that you are twice the poster that I am in every way...but thank you! You are a great Patsfans friend and a huge part of what makes this site great.

not sure we're watching the same guy. I live in NYC and see more of the jets than I'd like. Fitz seems to know no fear, rarely slides and always knows where the sticks are.

oh ****...you know that will go straight to his head...

yup, this is so true...at first I thought it was a fluke, but nope..once the play breaks down and he moves a little....he is running and not looking down field at all.

The Jets are very tough when the run game is working and Fitz is not throwing INT's.

So we'll see if our guys can do anything about either one of those ... we sure have the talent and coaching.

Time to hang it up and get that red blazer out.

Ian please put in a 'get a room you two' post rating.

well well well...seems the "King Of Dislikes" is quite fond of that little green eyed monster, jealousy. The way I feel about you we'd need to get an entire resort...

The dude runs hard and never slides and gets 1st downs more often than not. I don't love seeing that.

I know he can be good running the ball, but I believe that it's pretty common that he tucks the balls, avoids a sack, and then keeps trying to run instead of looking downfield. Once a play breaks down and he avoids a pass rusher, I'm a lot happier with him still getting sacked or being held to a short gain than him looking downfield
