Kayshon Boutte, how does he do it?

Just throw Kayshon the damn ball!

I think Maye just needs to keep hitting the guy who is open. These receivers have bought into the realization that some days will be theirs, and others someone else's. And they are playing their asses off without the ball going to them. Boutte was known as a " me" guy coming out of college, but his pressers lately have been a guy who is playing every down for the team. Vrabel has sold these guys completely on playing for each other. There could still be an outlier here or there, possibly Keion White, but overall they couldn't be any farther from the culture that was here last year than they are right now.

I was listening to Curran earlier and he said Booty is leading the league in Air yard reception average with 16.5 or 17, so he is averaging 16-17 yards in the air each reception and has 80% catch rate. I find this to be amazing because we have seen people have 80% catch rate, but there are normally dink and dunks in there but Booty is doing that on downfield throws. 18 of his 20 catches have been for 1st downs/TDs.

It appears that the majority of his receptions are 1st read throws, but that is just watching the game with out trying to track it so could be wrong. If anyone know that info or where to find it please pass on the info.

I know people want him replaced/upgraded, but my stance is that most everyone wanted that with Jakobi Meyers also and look how that turned out. He is only 23-24, so there is the potential for a lot of growth with Maye and Booty is super reliable.
Do people want him replaced or upgraded though?

I am in the camp that if you could ad an AJ Brown or Chris Olave, then in a 3 WRs set I would want Brown/Olave and Boutte on the outside with Diggs in the slot.

I think the sentiment is Pops needs to be upgraded/replaced. Pops is a fine 4/5 wr option alongside Hollins.

I also wouldnt trade a lot of capital to make that happen. A 4th for Olave or a 2nd for Brown would be the most I think that should be spent.

Getting another WR isn't a priority but I dont think the option to add an elite talent like Brown should ignored either. Just like I think the Pats should be in on Simmons from the Titans as well or Hendrickson from the Bengals.

K Boutte is developing into a really fine player: he's a very good Boundary receiver. I see plays where he was wide open and didn't get the football: really like him growing with Maye. We need to lock him up before season's end. There's more to him love me some LSU receiver. Boutte have the ceiling of a very good #2 WR.

A very good #2 might be a stretch, but Boutte is outperforming what I thought he would be. His hands are amazing - really important for a high efficiency passing offense - can't have a lot of drops.

I thought Polk was gonna be better than KB…yikes

I don't remember most everyone wanting Meyers replaced. Just the opposite. Most were upset when Meyers left.
It was during the season before he left. All I saw was he hasn't scored a TD in however long, he is not explosive enough and we need an upgrade. Unless I am just remembering the GDTs where every player is garbage. LMAO

Anyone that listens to the "We used Bills draft" crap for that GARBAGE is ridiculous, Wolf had MONTHS to look at the players.
He fkd it up.

Is Boutte's ceiling a #2 still a stretch??

Pay the man. The best wr we drafted since edelman , beating outeyers too .

Have you'all noticed Boutte's route running?? He was breaking ankles out there Today: he's getting better weekly. And we can say he's been Maye's favorite Target no offence S Diggs.

He looks like he is running in slow motion but just blowing past players. I don't get it lol.
