Justin Coleman traded to SEA

Interesting. It sure looked like he was on the outside looking in based on last night anyway, I had J. Jones making it over him as CB4 and Moore beating him out as the CB5 who's mostly a ST guy. If that's correct and we were going to cut him anyway, then a free draft pick is always welcome.

Makes sense from Seattle's perspective, if you assume he's replacing Jeremy Lane. It's a downgrade, but a small enough downgrade to be worth $3 million and change in cap savings.

Figured that him not playing meant 53. BB is always full of fun surprises.

Likely returns punts......

Addition by subtraction, on the field

He was no better than CB5, and spinning his wheels in that slot meant he was going to be moving on.

Last year they kept Coleman over LeBlanc against most fans “judgement“.
Now they (moore likely) keep udfa CB over what seemed like improved Coleman showing also on ST.

Somebody up there must be browsing these sites..

Why play him so many snaps if you're trading him the next day anyway? Seems like a weird way to jeopoardize the draft pick you have coming in if he gets hurt, might as well give those snaps to Moore or Travis.

He had a good game against Houston I thought
In BB we trust.
Why not Coleman for Lane?

Lane has a $4M base salary that I doubt the Pats (or anyone) has any interest in trading for. Once he's cut there will be plenty of teams looking to sign him at a lower price tag.
