Bones are "healed", generally, within 4-8 weeks. However, they don't achieve full strength for months. And, in this case, you're talking about a small bone in a high impact area. They'll have that shoe snug as a bug in a rug, and they'll have the plate in place to assist in the stress/weight management, but nothing is a 100% guarantee at this point.
