Julian Edelman: "I'm going to go full throttle regardless. If it goes, it goes."

What some of you people infer from things, just so you can worry about something, is hilarious.

Just enjoy Edelman, the anti-Gronk.

Glad he didn't play week 17 so he can do this...go full throttle

Here playing his hardest, period.

Watch the the f.ck out.

Does this remind anyone else of Gronk's comeback leading up to the 2012 playoffs?

Hope Jule's playoff run turns out better.

not really. gronk never looked comfortable with that huge cast on his arm. that was evident in the dolphins game at the end of the season.

Edelman looks pretty good in those practice videos. Dez bryant looked alright coming back from that injury as well.

I don't like hearing him say "if it goes, it goes," which suggests to me it's not fully healed.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. It is entirely unpredictable, and "medically cleared" simply means he can function fully, not that it won't break again.

We gotta love him though. That's our guy. Just pray we get three good games out of him.

I'll feel better after seeing a few of his cuts. I haven't seen anything like that in the practice videos.

Gronk is a battering ram who happens also to have a remarkable set of receiving skills.

Edelman is a skitterbug who happens to also hit people quite hard.

From an injury-recovery standpoint, there's no reason to assume they have a lot in common.

That jump cut was nasty. Can't wait. Favorite player.

I'll take 2 of these on Saturday ....

No.

Gronk was injured, I believe, in the AFCC game, so it wasn't leading up to the playoffs. It was between the AFCC game and the SB. That was 14 days. This will have been 62 days.

I could be wrong, @Jackson 2, but I believe that you may be thinking of the season before. In the 2011 season, Gronk was injured in the AFCCG and was basically used as a decoy for the SB.

In the 2012 season, he was targeted once in the postseason, but didn't have a catch, so I'm thinking that's what Tuck is referring to. As we know, he actually didn't have a reception in either the '12 or '13 postseasons, which hurt our team dramatically, as did not having him for the '11 Super Bowl.

Yes, but I thought Tuck was referring to the 2011 season when I believe Gronk's ankle was injured in the conference final and then 2 weeks later in the SB he was only largely a decoy.

He must mean Gronk's arm, since that was a reinjury and therefore more germane to this discussion

Yes, I'm guessing you're right. When I read "2012 playoffs", I thought the 2011 season and its January 2012 playoffs were being referred to.
