If you think back to when Josh was here last time it was thought that he'd be the heir to the HC thrown. So I am unable to accept that this was Vrabel’s decision. Krafts have their hands in this and I'm looking forward to the Robyn Glaser tell-all next Fall

I'm still waiting for Malcolm Butler's book telling about his benching in the Super Bowl.

I am so down the McMillan road i might crash out

God, i dont know whats worse if we get him and he sucks, or we dont and he doesnt
I'm not entirely sold on Carter and I think 4 is too high for the LTs so I keep circling back to Tet. I think it's the right move for us. If it doesn't work this time just start playing 4 tight ends and never draft another WR ever again.

I cannot hear the word grit and not think of…

Epic.

I hope Vrabels tells Onwenu you better come back this summer in shape.

Vrabel took a liking to an OL player in Tenn. Made it a personal mission to help him get to weight. Said it was an opportunity to celebrate every pound loss and help the player see those little steps as victories, which continue to motivate.

There are a few reasons I'm a little cold on Vrabel, but his ability to motivate ain't one of them. He's clearly great at that.

He's a good offensive coordinator.

I was just hoping it would be someone who wasn't a Patriots retread, and the opposite of a full reset.
I'm sure McDaniels can help translate his offense to the WCO kids, but I also wish that transition didn't have to waste time and take place.

And at least this time, no one will be knocking on his door for a HC gig - so I suppose stability is part of the hire as well.
I’m not sure why everyone is assuming this will be a full system change. I think Josh is a great coach and will recognize the importance of not wasting another year of Drake’s rookie contract and use a hybrid system, building off what Drake already knows.

I eat oatmeal every morning. So I'm a porridge guy now? That's not good, is it?
Twice a week I make homemade oatmeal which is two days worth. It’s good but I’ve been doing it for five years, sometimes I do not look forward to it. LOL!

Steel cuts oats are the best. I'll mix in some flax seed and honey then put some fresh fruit and top it off with some whip cream for an extra kick. That's how oatmeal is done right.

I love maple and brown sugar cream of wheat, but that is way overpriced.
I use natural Peanut Butter, cinnamon and a crushed banana.

I remember reading that, hopefully he has the same success with Onwenu.

I do see an advantage there, that there is a zero percent chance he gets hired as a head coach elsewhere ever again.
I was being sarcastic. Ain’t nobody gonna hire him away. I see it a win win. Comes with a hell of a resume. Are there better? Maybe .., are there worse ? Hell ya

Graham and Johnson say hi.

Graham and Johnson say hi.
I've considered them too and I'll probably change my mind several more times throughout the process. Right now I'm going off the opinion of a friend of mine who is a Michigan fan and he likes Johnson a little more than Graham and we need WR way more than CB. I also think there are a lot of good options in free agency for a CB2.

For now I'm in on Tet. Let's see how free agency goes and the combine. And let's see how the draft order seems to set up.

PS: FWIW that same friend isn't sold on Tet and he thinks Carter should be the pick.

Here's my latest mock with us taking Graham. Missed out on LT in the 2nd so i traded back a bunch.

People seem to forget what Josh McDaniels Offense utilizes. To name a few positions the Slot WR - TE and Pass catching RB. I know we're a bringing in a RB who's a threat in the passing game: it makes everything a little easier. McDaniels Offense is a Far cry from the Two Crap Offenses we just experienced.

Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson are both proven in the passing game. Gibson was used almost primarily that way with the Commanders. He showed he was more than that.

Not sure why you think that they need to go out and get a RB who is primarily a "pass-catcher" for McD's offense. In fact, having guys like Gibson and Stevenson make the play-calling that much more open. Because they won't be predictable.

From "The Ringer"

OK, let’s ignore everything else and just look at how McDaniels’s offenses performed without Brady.

2009Broncos20th
2010Broncos20th
2011Rams32nd
2020Patriots23rd
2021Patriots10th
2022Raiders15th
2023Raiders27th

Yep, that sucks. No ****ing Way would I have hired someone with that resume' as my OC.

Then trade down... which is what the Plan should be anyway.
