Murphy now works for yahoo.com. He was the founder of nextlevelscouting and served on the East west shrine game selection committee. I believe he has contacts among the team scouts, and as such put out this very unusual top ten mock last week: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jm-mockdraft011807&prov=yhoo&type=lgns I think it accurately portrays what many of us have been thinking... that Quinn has slid this year and is barely hanging onto the top 10, contrary to reports from the hype machine. Not that we care about the top 10 that much...

I always like to read John Murphy, and I agree his contacts always seem to be well placed.

I think Minnesota will take Quinn at 7. Brad Johnson is about 100 yrs old. They don't have a younger option. They could use a face of the franchise. Makes too much sense to me. They'll probably draft a WR.

Tavaris Jackson is an interesting younger option IMO.
