Huge lift to a defense that is already the 3rd best in the league without Porter. Adding Porter pushes the Dolphins closer to challenging the Bears and Ravens for best defenses.

You never seem to have your facts correct.

The Phins were only the 4th best in yardage allowed (8th against the run and 5th against the pass). However, Miami was only 5th best in the only stat that matters. Points allowed. Miami also only had 8 interceptions on the entire year.

The Pats were 2nd in points allowed. The Pats were 6th in over all yardage allowed, 5th in rushing yardage allowed and 12th in passing yardage allowed.

OH, it should be noted that the Pats only allowed 5 yards per game MORE than the Phins in overall yardage, but held teams to a FG less.

OH, I think you need to worry about the Pats defense in there too, sherlock. The Pats and Jaquars defenses are better in terms of points allowed than Miami. And, to be honest, I fully expect Miami's punter to be in the top 5 in punt attempts.

I don't know how many times we have to discuss this. When Harrington or Culpepper threw a pick that ended up in the end zone or close to it and the defense holds to a 3 and out only to give up a FG, whose fault is that?

No, I just pay attention to my team. Why would Ginn be in with the first team against the Bucs and running with Chambers and Booker in 3 wide sets in practices this week? Weird, huh?

Also, Booker will be gone next year, Ginn will step into his spot, pretty simple when you think about it.
