I think Shaq started out at LG this year because he had experience, but he's a better RG than Thuney and Thuney is a better LG than Shaq.

We want Shaq pulling, but don't want him left on an island in pass protection.

Thuney has been very consistent and I see him as our new Hochstein or Connolly Swiss army knife, but he definitely ain't a pro bowler yet.

him and andrews are certainly the weak links on the line. I remember tuitt and mercilus swatting aside thuney with ease in the playoffs.
I dont know how our line matches up with these faster rushers from the falcons.

Completely agree he's the long term LG with Shaq at RG. Andrews is fine but nothing special at C. Since both Gs are on the small side iam wondering if they might try get a "bigger" guy at C ??

Andrews is a tough one, because he seems to have a terrific grasp of the mental side of the game and makes good line calls but physically he's too easily overpowered. I don't think the decision will be based on the size of the guards, though -- Mason is very short but pretty stout and powerful, and Thuney could share clothes with Logan Mankins at 6' 4 1/2" 305.

"Holding, number 70" has become "holding, number 62."

Thuney is a long term solution at left guard. Yes he has hit the rookie wall, and yes Atlanta will come after him, but starting next year he will be a stud. I expect him to have a decent game on Sunday,

Andrews is a master at the mental side of the game and a future coach. But he is very limited athletically. I see bb sticking with him, but he must have a good super bowl to stay.

Mason is a monster as a run blocker and puller, but sucks to high heaven in pass protection. Hegeman lining up over mason on pass plays scares me,

Pat efflin is a center/guard from Ohio state that the pats might be interested in in this draft but with all the defensive needs, hard to see them not going all in on defense,

Thuney and Andrews were the weak links on the whole this year but they should improve especailly Thuney. Andrews got bigger his 2nd year but i think he has worn down and now i wonder how much more he can improve over what he is. If he can't get beyond the point he is we should probably go in another direction.

Thuney though I have high hopes for in his 2nd year.
