Joe Milton is a "better option" than any QB available in this year's NFL Draft.

"Last season, Milton appeared in one game, passing for 241 yards and putting up 2 total TD's in a win against the Bills (who made it to the AFC Championship)."

Not throwing shade on Milton but the win against Buffalo was not against the Bills who made it to the AFCCG, it was in large part against their understudy's understudies who were playing vanilla

Joe Milton ain't going anywhere: every Team needs a competent Back-up not named Jacoby Brissett.

More like BUF's preseason game 3 2nd half squad ...

Understand this, if ANY team believes that he's a legit #1 QB, let alone could be even greater, you do NOT accept anything less than a 1st Round Pick for him. Enough of this 2nd or 3rd Round or any Round later Pick CRAP!!! He may never be anything more than a backup. Fine. But either he remains as a viable backup to Maye who hopefully never sees the field except for pre-season and cleanup duties (and you don't trade him in the 2nd year of a cheap contract), or some team believes he's their answer at QB. For anything less than a 1st Round pick, there's absolutely NO REASON to trade him this year.

I'm genuinely curious to see how much truth there is to this report. How do other teams (and NE, really) actually feel about Milton... ?

Hold him until a team is willing to give up a ransom. Let the mystery build and fester... QB desperate teams do desperate things.

We also better make sure Drake Maye is not fool's gold. He needs to prove he can stop throwing silly interceptions.

Get him that 6'4 WR with Good Catch Radius in FA that problem solved.

John,

Exactly correct. Hold on to him. Let him continue to develop under Josh. Let his stocks build up.. and next offseason he definitely will be worth a first for sure.
