Joe Judge close to returning to NE

One thing that I am very interested in learning about is Judge's influence on our OLine. Mac needs better protection. We've got a great RB tandem. Henry can get open and catch. Smith can catch and run, so his issues could just be misuse or getting more familiar with scheme. Bourne can get open, catch, and run. Meyers can get open and catch. Agholor's game requires a second longer for Mac in the pocket. I think most of our line is expendable, despite how it is rated. A break through receiver or receiving back would emerge quicker with a stout and disciplined line. There are a couple of solid pieces riding the pine already. We need a better LT/LG tandem.
I'd be surprised if the starting line isn't Wynn-Karras-Andrews-Mason-Onwenu.

I think Onwenu belongs there. Wynn is so-so. Is that because Karras is next to him? I don't know. A kickass monster at LG could help. Andrews is a smart warrior. Is he a little too light? I don't know. It just seems the line isn't functioning all that well to me in the passing game. They work better on the run and that's okay with a shutdown D... which seems poised to take a step back.

I think the Oline is good enough when they play at their best....which was not always the case this season. I'd like to see them get a "kickass" WR1 if they are going to spend big on a player.

That seems to be a common thought.

I would love a guy like Brian Callahan for OC.

omg why on earth would you want to see mr googlyeyes here???
Would you rather have judge or mr googlyeyes? i think i would rather have bug eyes. call me insano.

judge. not even a question in my mind

if mac were a veteran qb, you could maybe make a case for gase. he's not though

gase basically ruined Darnold, the last rookie/2nd year qb he coached...

Maybe your right. i forgot about darnold. i dont like either one of them.

Bill needs to coach up his daughter in the off-season to be an OC... that would fit the bill, fill a need so to speak...

The article states that he's going to be an "offensive assistant"...whatever that means

Should have gone after a new Great offensive mind and OC and instead brought back a front offensive Aide and failed head coach that COULDN'T generate points on offense….Pats took a step backwards today

Maybe Joe can teach Mac how to do a QB sneak from his own 2 yard line on 3rd and 8 just like he taught Daniel Jones?
Joke Judge …..not sure what Bill is doing here

Judge and Matt were both good at what they did while being coordinators under Bill.
They are not going to be HC’s here. There are always coaches throughout the league that are great coodinators but sucked as HC’s
Bill praised Judge before he left for the Giants saying he could coach any position.
I guess he will be in tandem with Lombardi and/or Caley. Maybe Lombardi becomes QB coach.
Who does the play calling we shall see.
At least Mac keeps continuity with the type of system. I think Mac will be in good hands with a QB coach in Lombardi or Caley and Hoyer continuing what he did for Mac last year

I kinda wish we made a play for Kafka
We should be so lucky.

”One morning, when N’Keal Harry woke from troubled dreams involving running the wrong route, he found himself transformed in his bed into a giant ****roach. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections, even stiffer than his play at wide receiver. The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as a football was thrown at him.”

Judge is still being paid by the giants. bb gets a yes man who he likes working with on the cheap. I don't like it.

I laughed out loud.
