Content Post JETS SUCK 2025 EDITION (OFFICIAL): DIVINE INTERVENTION DENIED

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.
I took like 4 years off from here and it's still not surprising to me that you need **** explained to you.
It was pretty clear to me. I travelled the same path. The 90's turned me sour on the Jets too.

Picture or drawing of the butt fumble should be on the jest logo instead of jetes

It looks like a whole cottage industry has sprung up around celebrating the most glorious play in NFL history, the Butt Fumble:

Not just the butt fumble itself, but the sequence of plays it was a part of:

The play was the centerpiece of a disastrous sequence in the second quarter, wherein the Jets lost three fumbles and the Patriots scored three touchdowns in the span of 52 seconds of game time. In that second quarter, the Jets held the ball for over 12 minutes (out of a possible 15), but managed to be outscored 35–3.

All this on national TV on Thanksgiving Day on their field!

This is 'Swirly' level of embarassment!

That 52 second sequence gave new meaning for me to the term "New York minute."

Big Vince doesn't get enough credit for blowing up that play.

Mark himself credits Vince, probably to deflect blame off himself:

ESPN doesn't:

This last video is a great example of ESPN at its peak of wealth and excess. They interview a dozen people and even hire an ice sculptor to re-create the butt fumble in ice. Tens of thousands of dollars spent on a few minutes of video.

Don’t Brandon Moore’s game worn pants belong in Canton?

Too analytical.

Just right. Captures the entire Jete experience at a high level.
I watched the first one, i agree its to sophisticated for the jest suck thread

Some highlights of that video:

4:42: The Jets are The Patriot's *****es

6:18: The Butt Fumble

I love the Butt Fumble part the best!

But it didn't end there. The butt fumble became a brand, a cultural phenomenon. It's shown in every worst plays in NFL history montage. It's a joke that refuses to die. You as a Jets fan could cure diseases, win the lottery, or climb Mount Everest, and somehow would still greet you with, "Hey, you're a Jets fan." Butt fumble, right?

Hmm, hints of homo-eroticism?

AI or not, someone put a LOT of work into this video.

I liked the Jete draft coin to flip where both sides are “bust”.

What ever happened to the football, Sanchez’s helmet, and Brandon Moore’s game worn pants?

If they are not in Canton, where they should be, and can be certified as authentic, imagine how much money they would fetch if they were auctioned off.

Someone should make this t-shirt so we can mail it to the Jete fans in our lives!

There are 8 original AFL teams. That group accounts for 1/4 of the league but has won 1/3 of the SBs. That's not as bad as you want it to appear. The AFC is right behind the NFC in SB wins in spite of a 13 straight run by the NFC in the 80s and 90s.t.

The AFC has won far more head to head games vs the NFC teams overall. If they're stronger right now it's only at the top and has only been that way recently. Overall the NFC has gotten their asses kicked by the AFC

And the game that the NFL plays now resembles the old AFL game more than anything else.

The AFL had 10 teams before merging with the NFL, not eight. And of the 19 (out of 59) Super Bowls won by former AFL franchises, 18 involved only five teams -- Patriots, Cheeves, Raiders, Broncos and Dolphins.

You might recall the first post-merger AFC-NFC Super Bowl was played by original NFL teams, Baltimore-Dallas. The AFL had three, maybe four teams capable of NFL-level play before the leagues merged. Post-merger with a shared draft, trades, etc. things evened out.

Another t-shirt someone should make!
