All will be corrected this offseason. No need to worry.

You're half right, we have no need to worry about anything the Jete (ahem) brainstrust comes up with. You on the other hand have got plenty. "All will be corrected this offseason" has become the Jete mantra repeated at the end of every season ad nauseum. Refresh our memories, how's that been working out for the last 50?

It has?

I don't remember believing that in quite some time.

You also believe in ...

My goodness, the Jete will still suck? Go figure, Heheheheeeeeeeeeeeee...............

Your browser history must be scary.
You're not kidding! For a true examination of humanity's dark underbelly, just Google "what Jete fans crave" then brace yourself.

the poor Socal surfer dewd thinks things are gonna get better next year...it's like Vin Diesel at the start of the Chronicles of Riddick when he hijacks Toons hover craft..."you made three mistakes...first, you took the job"

If the Jete had competent management, they'd trade Darnit to recoup at least a couple of the second-round picks they gave up last year (or perhaps a late first-rounder). Then they would let their new coach (Jerry Glanville or someone similar) select a genuine franchise quarterback with their third overall pick in this year's draft. But that won't happen because winning isn't important to those morons.

Imagine what would have happened if Leon Hess didn't die and Bill Belichick stayed in New Joisey. They might not have drafted Tom Brady but they would have had one of the greatest coaches in NYFL history.

Instead the Jete have had one failure after another and are now looking at more than a half century of losing.

To top it off, after a brutal fight with local cable companies, they get a new stadium but have to share it with the Giants. Soon after they're sold a bill of goods by their owner, Woody, and former employee, Goody, who temporarily waived the 50 degree rule concerning SB's in outdoor stadiums so their fans would buy useless PSL's, which they did.

Btw, the opening game in the new stadium was a 10-9 MNF snooze-fest.

The closest they got to winning recently was when they drafted one of the best DB's in the game, only to see him hold them up for a king's ransom and then leave to go win a SB ring with the team Belichick was now coaching.

Of course, that same player ended up returning for another king's ransom but was only a shell of himself and the Jete went downhill fast when he returned. They even ended up paying him for a season in which he never played a game.

Now they're at the point that they have the same owner, no HC, a crappy GM and a huge gap in talent with a lot of holes to fill.

Boy, it must really suck to be a Jete fan. I'm glad I'm not one of them.

As Pats fans the new year signifies excitement and anticipation for the beginning of our annual playoff run, for Jete fans it's just a sad continuation of the same old jete albeit in a slightly different package. Given what we experienced in the first 35 years of our franchise's history if they were Bungals or Brownies fans we might even feel some empathy for them. But they aren't...so we don't. I mean good Lord, there's another team in that town, it's not like they don't have any choice. They consciously choose to be miserable and get shat upon, what intelligent human being can be expected to empathize with that?

NYJ on the clock with 1st round pick #3, no 2nd rounder (great move giving their prime pick to help AFC rival Indy, lol), 3rd round #68 (their own) and 3rd round #96 (great move trading Bridgewater to NO and getting back the worst possible 3rd round pick, lol).

The smartest thing to do would be to build offensive talent (starting with the O line) around their big draft gamble, Darnit, presumably by trading down to make up for giving up the two #2s to get Darnit.

What da Jete will do is find a defensive minded coach and draft more safeties starting at #3 because they have a hard on for safeties.

LOL, McCarthy couldn't win with Aaron Rodgers, and Darnold is no Aaron Rodgers.

Coveted job? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I think all those kicks to your nuts have scrambled your brains!
