God, the Jets and their fans are so f****d! You got nothing. Front-load the piss out of a contract with Fitzy to get him signed, and see what happens --- you literally have no other choice. Make it look sexy but make sure you can cut him a year from now, at most two.

EDIT: Such an approach allows both sides to save face, but the bottom line is you can flush Fitzy down the toilet next year if he sucks.
