Nice to see Brother Rex finally getting some Love around here.
It's no secret that I've absolutely loved the guy from the day he showed up.
And it's been unfathomable how universally he's been hated around here.
If you actually read his statements in their entirety ~ and I mean all of'm, all the way back to the beginning with his "I'm not kissing Belichick's @$$." comment ~ you discover a guy who's startlingly thoughtful, unfailingly respectful to all his opponents...and remarkably engaging, intelligent, passionate, and hilarious ~ on purpose!!
Were he Head Coach here ~ God forbid anyone but Mad Bill be Coach!! ~ every single guy who's been blasting the guy for the last three years would be a frothing, raging Rex Ryan FANATIC.
And the idea that he's overrated is hilarious.
The guy steps off the bus and immediately takes his team to consecutive Championship Games, and he beat The Greatest Coach of at Least This Era 3 out of the first 5 times he played us...although, in all fairness, he hasn't beaten him once since I predicted, here, that he wouldn't ever beat'm again!!
