Every year as cutdown time approaches, the question naturally arises: how many roster spots is it worth allotting to pure ST guys? And the most popular answer is "fewer than BB thinks." :)

Good thing BB doesn't reach out to those folks for roster building advice.

It is painfully obvious to me that Jerry is the mystery tutor that woody Johnson and his brother have been using these past couple of years.

good to see that Jerry practices the ineptitude that he preaches to the clueless Johnson’s.

Riffing on the theme of undervaluing special teams...

My gut feeling is that, years from now, Matthew Slater will be one of those guys we all say should, but never will, be in the HOF. (That said, I see that Steve Tasker's candidacy has found some momentum in the last couple days, so maybe the times are a-changin...)

It's telling that Jerry picks now, of all times, to come down hard on his coaching staff.

They just lost an away game by four points to the SB champs in a maelstrom. Is that really worse than getting whipped by the Jets, or any number of other weak losses in recent memory?

I think he's well aware this was the most- watched game of the season, and by acting like the result is unacceptable he bolsters the notion that the Cowboys are on a par with the Patriots.

Reminds me of a few years back when a Brady-less, Gronk-less Pats team beat Arizona in the season opener, and Bruce Arians excoriated his team in the press.

Jerrah is desperate for a "Signature" win ... something he can point to, something to brag about, a moment in time you can point to and say "see? i knew it then" ...

iirc, BB talked about something like it afterwards ... the 2016 KC loss ... even though it looked bad (it was bad), he said the team never stopped competing... thats when he knew the 2016 team had something special...

as for JJ meddling, is he really meddling with the team if he is the de facto GM?

Jerruhh is a dweeb, but an amazingly successful dweeb.

The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable team in the NFL as of 2019, based on Forbes valuations. The Cowboys have had the most valuable franchise for 13 straight years, with a value of $5.5 billion, up 10% from 2018. The NFL remains the most valuable sports league in the world.Oct 6, 2019

Up 10% in one year? Yikes! That's $500 million dollars in increased valuation last year!

Fortunately for us Pats Fans, he is not a good football mind!

Let him collect his shiny objects and mismanage the football operation for many years to come!

    Go Pats!

He wants wins against big teams so he can parade around the owners meetings and to his cronies since they aren’t playing in Suoer Bowls anymore. Beating a team like New England boosts his confidence and in his mind, validates the roster he built.

I don’t think anyone’s questioned Jerry’s business acumen, both in the oil industry and in the NFL. It’s his football operations acumen that we’ve questioned.

no doubt that as the cowboys gm, he has hurt that franchise tremendously.

In fairness to Jerry, the Cowboys are always okay. They're never elite anymore, but they're never terrible. At least he cares, more than you can say for some of these owners.

The Cowboys team has had a good collection of talent. And a coach who would let Adrian Claiborne get 6 sacks before making any adjustments.

Jerry left the game early to beat traffic.

Somebody has to win the NFCE and its likely Jerrys team, but they will be 1 and done. Im not that impressed with Sak Prescott.

At least Jerrah doesn’t roam the sidelines anymore.
That being said, how about his skybox celebration after Dallas scored the opening touchdown. I think I lip read him saying “that TD was all me”
    :)
The yes-men group high five had a striking similarity to the Ford motor company suits taking all the credit for their Ford victory at Lemans (Ford vs Ferrari- fun movie)

Look how he surrounds himself with sycophants who leave when he leaves. I bet you that none of the people in that booth have the balls to disagree with him on anything, much less say no to him.

The reason no one has signed Brown yet is because of the uncertainty that the NYFL may not let him play, which appears to be the case.

Anyone else having trouble with "Jerry Jones Explains"

Is he capable of that as it relates to football?

It's funny how much I enjoy it when he sounds like a fool after a loss to the Pats.

I think Kraft has warts at times but that clown has leprosy.
