Jermaine Kearse?

I'll freely concede that I may irrationally like the guys we have, but I'd rather see what they can do. Even if we got Kearse, I don't see him as any higher than WR4 on this roster, and he's likely not even that.

Carr is a PS player.

Kearse is a bonefide NFL WR

Kearse is a better WR than Carr, but considering that the WR5 role would likely be more ST than actual receiving and the disparities in pay and age I'm not sure Belichick would consider it an upgrade worth giving up any asset for.

I expect WR5 to come down to who can better cover kicks and return punts.

Hey mods, might as well lock this thread.

Yes, it's rare when "SIGN THIS GUY I HEARD OF, QUESTION MARK" threads go horribly wrong.

Of course and your rationalization is logical.

The question on the table is 2017.

I choose Kearse over Carr.

I most likely choose Kearse over Carr for 2018 as what I saw in the preseason didn't get me excited.

If that's the choice, sure. Kearse is a JAG, Carr is a CFL receiver.

Oops I mean Jermaine.
