Jeff Howe: "Edelman is playing"

Zolak said this week that Edelman was cleared to play before the Jets game, but they held him out to make sure he was as close to 100% for the playoffs.

Everyone knows Edelman is playing on Saturday.

Hey Jeff, a source tells me Belichick will be coaching also.

You're telling me this now? What the hell man! Why did you keep this important info from me! Jerk!

Where's DR Chao?

It's the new improved high ankle sprain that acts like a mild low ankle sprain!

Brady is as tough as any QB in the league, he asks for flags because Ref's give them to him, never let that fool anyone into thinking he isn't tougher than anyone else on the field.

He's just 10x as smart. If he thinks he can get free yards he will, never once about toughness.

Does he have inhuman leg bones that don't need healthy cartilage between them?

You were on the money with this from the beginning. He hasn't been in a boot the last couple of days. It's not a high ankle sprain.

Every QB takes as many dirty hits as Brady, maybe even more, not sure I understand the purpose of this post.

All I said is that he's as tough as anyone and he'll play through it, he probably won't miss a beat either with the time he's had to rest.

Having Edelman, Gronk, Amendola, and White ont he field together will do this offense wonders, especially when it comes to protecting the OL deficiencies.

SJax may be past his prime but opposing defenses will know that we're not afraid to hand the ball off to him, which will help play action, too.

What's with the hate of Chao here? I get that he had some **** ups as a doctor. But as an injury analyst he has been pretty spot on for the most part. He's said all along that it looks like a mild sprain and that Brady would be fine for the playoffs.

You replied to my post, apparently without reading it. I was making fun of all the idiots in the media who now call any ankle sprain a "high" ankle sprain.

If you know what a high ankle sprain is, a guy playing, then walking without crutches, then bowling, does not have a high ankle sprain. He has a regular ankle sprain, which is an entirely different injury, can be taped up and played on and usually heals quickly if you ice it.

It can be taped, because it is a wobble from side to side injury otherwise. A high ankle sprain is damage to the ligament that joins the two bones of the leg where they join the ankle. You can't tape that and play on it, because it's not wobbly, it's two bones carrying all your weight that are separating.
