Until recently I’ve been confused about what is the difference between the two kinds of ankle sprains. It’s just started to make sense to me. So your confused emoji may just confuse me. Maybe. I’m not sure…I wasn't serious, i'll have to go back and change the angry emoji I changed it to confused, which probably won't help. But will see
If anybody is even slightly dinged they should get time off to heal. They can knock the rust off in practice. Most of it is mental and Vrabel will take care of that. They’ll be hungry enough it won’t be a problem. Physical condition is what will matter. Resting them will be the best thing for that.If they know going into week 17 they will have a bye, they should still play starters. Two weeks off is too much. Leads to rust in the first playoff game.
Yeah, High Ankle Sprains suck. You might not feel good doing anything athletic on that foot for a few months.High ankle sprains aren't great news. Contrary to Rappaport, the average recovery time is 42-68 days. We JUST had this discussion about Milt Williams.
My memory is fading but a low or regular ankle sprain concerns drum roll... the ligaments in the ankle. A high ankle sprain concerns the tibia and fibula below the knee. Wouldn't mind seeing Wallace get some play if it helps our Anemic Running Game.I am also pretty comfortable with Brown getting snaps.
I assume that will also bump up Wallace to active while Wilson is out
I’d agree.High ankle sprains aren't great news. Contrary to Rappaport, the average recovery time is 42-68 days. We JUST had this discussion about Milt Williams.
A Grade 1 sprain is a stretch and not a tear…I believe. Grade 2 is a tear.A sprain is basically a tear correct?
I’m starting to grow really fond of the lower ones. Why can't we ever have just plain old lower ankle sprains?
Are you really suggesting that the time off was the CAUSE of the injuries????As we saw the injuries piling up yesterday I was thinking that perhaps the 'mini-bye' after TNF was too much time off...
IMO not too much time off explicitly .... I think too little time to recuperate after the game prior to Thur and then too long afterwards. The two different time-cycles back-to-back I think was more the problem; IF IT WAS a problem. Plus a couple other factors to consider:As we saw the injuries piling up yesterday I was thinking that perhaps the 'mini-bye' after TNF was too much time off...
