Kudos to whoever put this together. It has no volume. It's not a flashy highlight reel. It's low quality footage of his rookie year snaps.

Collins came on so strong in the playoffs and looked like our best defensive player in the post-season. His instincts and athletic ability are off the charts. Looks like a big time playmaker too.

I'm predicting he'll have a breakout year in 2014 and will make the Pro Bowl. I also think he will be the best linebacker on the team. Mayo and Hightower are good LB's, but Collins is a special talent who stands out.

EDIT: Can a Mod please change the Poll to allow Multiple Choices.

I'm not sure why someone would say Collins will slump. What evidence leads to that line of thinking?

I want to say he will be a pro bowler, but it's too early to tell. I do believe he will be a great complement to Mayo. Mayo isn't flashy, and doesn't make the 'big plays'. Collins will do both those things.

Who'll do better this season? I'll say Mayo just because he is the one keeping an eye on the entire defense, making sure everyone has the play correct and is in position. Collins wont have half the responsibility. Who'll be in the highlights more? Collins, and it's not close.

Projections do not make all that much sense, but your sentiments clearly illustrate pretty much how I feel about him. The nice thing about last year is he was allowed to develop insteading of being cast into the fray on day 1, on most teams he would be expected to start and be an impact player immediately...

Really like this pick, how he has developed and how the Patriots eased him into the season.....
