Matty Ice has regressed so who better to develop Blaine Gabbert? I used to breed Arabian showhorses as did a lot of millionaire businessmen and I used to marvel at how otherwise wildly successful businessmen morph into brainless fools (or tools) when the word horse entered the equation. I think the same thing happens when the word is football... Somehow they succomb to a handful of idiot advisors and forget every principle that led to their business success in another field. Mindmumbing.

I really don't get the recycled coaches in the NFL. Why don't these poor to mediocre franchises ever try something or somebody new? Maybe then you'd be successful. Plus, who can take a guy seriously who has a name that you yell out in disgust when you think someone is lying? Sheesh.

It must be really discouraging to be a young, creative, energetic assistant NFL coach, or college head coach, and see these owners continue to make stupid choices. It's not a free market in that you can't go out and create your own NFL to create opportunity for yourself. It's a monopoly with only a handful of owners with the guts to aim for excellence.

Sometimes the principle to success in business is fraud.

Some people are good at that.

When success is determined however by performance on the field of play (as in the NFL) the frauds are exposed.

There are a lot of frauds in the business world. The ex-CEO of Apple prior to Jobs coming back on is a very rich man and could probably own a football team. But he certainly didn't know how to run that company. He was appointed.

Yeah, isn't malarkey slang for BS? (For the Band of Brothers fans who'll get it).
