3 of these could happen, but I'd say definitely chill out on Keion White. I loved him in this draft but he is raw and will need a lot of seasoning. Plus, he is really there to sub for Wise. As long as Wise stays healthy, we only need White to come in and give us some back up snaps.
Barmore... this is a pivotal season for him when he's right he's an absolute force. He needs to stay on the field in order to become the ALL PRO caliber player I know he can be.. to me.. gonzo is a day one starter.. Unless he starts watching film on joaun Williams technique.. instead of ty laws.

Kion white.. I think he'll get better and better as the season goes along and he plays more..

I figured he would be.. we need Jack on the outside opposite gonzo.. that's the way I anticipate it shaking out. Jon Jones is excellent in the slot..
Those 3 plus Marcus Jones as depth really have the makings of an amazing unit. And for ultra cheap, too! (for now)

Do either of you see Mills replacing McCourty at Free Safety? If so, then where's our Outside CB depth?

Jon Jones would go outside after Ja Jones and Gonzo. After that Ma Jones would kick outside. Mills could help too if one of the strong safety types drops back to play FS.

Imagine that.. Jack on his rookie deal, Marcus and gonzo all on rookie deals.. your right cheap for now.. LOL I like Jon in the slot.. his skill set is better in short areas. Thing is they play so many different formations.. Mayo like to get all the skill guys on the field especially against high level offenses.. week 1 is the best test!

I like mills.. we are so deep at safety that mayo employs so many different fronts that sometimes we have 7,8 DBs on the field.. I believe he'll be in the safety rotations. I believe at outside corner.. it's gonzo, Jack, speed possibly, and if possible Jon could fill in if need be. Outside corner depth is really. My only concern we have a talented secondary

Look for White to be on the field at the same time as Wise on passing downs. 3 DL will eventually be Wise - Barmore - White. Bill didn't draft White to stand on the sidelines. Think Jarvis Green.

Guy better get over holding out because he doesn't have much leverage at his age and ability.
I think we can expect Judon and uche in 3rd down

My guess is that he's counting them as OLB, although I don't think we always use 34 when pass rushing. More likely, we have 4 rushers and some sort of nickel or dime package behind them. Tough to justify taking Judon and Uche off the field on passing downs, but I could see White, Barmore, and Wise rotated to keep them all fresh and explosive.

He is the 2nd best CB in the league behind Christian Gonzalez. Of course he is going to remain on the team.

Jon & Marcus are better-suited on the Inside, especially Marcus who doesn't have any experience on the Outside that's actually good.

Best-case scenario, based on whom we have in the building right now, is that Marcus proves capable of starting in the Slot, thereby allowing Jonathan to move to FS and Mills back to Outside CB with Jackie & Gonzo; don't know if Marcus is ready for this, however, thus my concern that we're one vet DB short somewhere, either at FS or on the Outside.

Mine as well; but unfortunately the FO has done Nothing this offseason to address it besides drafting Gonzo.

Barmore, Judon & Uche should all be regulars in any passing-down defense... Wise & White are TBD, depending on how light they want to be up front, though I can definitely see all 5 on the field at the same time with one of Phillips/Peppers/another Edge plus 5 DBs.

That's why I was hoping for a veteran.. a guy like Terence Mitchell who was here last season had a great camp but suffered an ankle injury would have been a nice depth peice here. Not to rehash it.. but this is why the draft bust are so bad at CB.. Williams, Cyrus Jones, Duke dawson.. had these guys worked out our depth would've been in great shape.

I see Mills as the starting FS, but I also thought he was our best CB last season before he got hurt, so if injuries occur at the position HE would be my first choice to go back outside, and have one of the other S's replace him. Also Jon Jones did an excellent job on the outside last season, though the slot CB is HIS best position. Finally you have to hope one of Speed/Boldin can be the last guy in the CB room and develop into a depth guy by the end of the season.

Of course this all assumes Jack Jones is around for most of the season and is playing at a quality level, and Gonsalez is as good as we hope, Nothing set in stone as of yet, but I see the pieces for a deep CB room.

Jack Jones was our best CB last season Hamstring Mills is what he is average.

This defense had better gel a bit during camp. That Eagles offense could be the best in the league. They can run and throw. This team can't go 1-3 to open the season and say it's just an extension of the pre-season. I would love to see this defense kick the Eagles in the teeth week 1.

I can also see Mills as our starting FS; I like his size back there... The problem with that might be, in that scenario I would then prefer Jonathan in the Slot with Gonzo & Jackie on the Outside, but that would leave us without depth behind the two kids... Just one more decent Outside veteran, and I would feel a LOT better about our overall D-Backfield.
