Best part of Jackie Gleason Show for me was when he did the Joe the Bartender skit with Frankie Fontaine as Crazy Guggenheim. That was some funny ****.
Fontaine,btw,was from Cambridge,Ma.

I remember those bits! And near the end of them, Fontaine would break out in song, with a voice totally unexpected from someone named Crazy Guggenheim, similar in a way to Jim Nabors as Gomer Pyle singing The Impossible Dream... My mom Loved his voice, and that song still chokes me up if I'm in a particular mood...

Yeah it was a shock the 1st time I heard both those guys sing. Who knew those wacky guys had pipes like that? They could both really sing.

Also 'Oh My Papa' ... Eddie Fisher tune ... wtf I am a fossil.

Yep that was another must-see variety show that we watched with our parents... We especially enjoyed the June Taylor Dancers, and those over-head shots of their kaleidoscopic movements on the dance floor, and sometimes in the water too...
Yes! Those overhead shots of the dancers was the first thing I thought of.

heh...yeah...Joe was a member of the SSOTFS...Smiling Sons of the Friendly Shillelagh..a point he made every time he appeared at the end of show...of course there was the perfunctory spitting in Jackie's face as Joe spoke rhe words...for some reason I cracked up every time I saw the skit...

If Brady had AB and Gronk in 2019 with that defense we would most likely have won another SB.

I disagree. Brown would have thrown a fit over targets, $$$, or not getting enough likes on Twitter, and would have done something serious enough to get benched orthrown off the team.

A case in Middlesex County that seems to have some bearing on Jack Jones Case was just ruled in favor of the Plaintiff.
Donnell v. Commonwealth. The Judge ruled in favor of Donnell's claim that MA requirements for Out of State Residents to get temp LTC permit is Unconstitutional.

So that is likely to remove some of the MA charges that he was facing. Which could be why the hearing was put off.
