Most secondaries don't even have one good player, so I wouldn't even worry about it.

I am in complete & total Disagreement. Just because we ****ing Suck at roster-building doesn't mean that every other team does too. That's just wishful thinking.

If he was not a producer, he would be cut and the team would eat the $10M less whatever he gets elsewhere.

You seem to have lost your knowledge of the concept of sunk cost.

If it's simply a matter of production, then Peppers would still be here and Uncle Dugg would not be. But it isn't.

A lot of teams suck at roster building. 12 teams have never won a SB after like 50 years. And the JETE are not one of those 12 teams. If the JETE are better at roster building than almost half the league, that means a LOT of teams ****ing suck at roster building.

Why do you expect Pettus to come on? His RAS score of 6.39 is low due to being short and not explosive. Pettus is not a great athlete. What indicates he is coming out?
Well I'm not a fortune teller of course, I'm simply looking at the coaching he's going to get and the increase in playing time. Again he was kept on the roster over an established all pro level player in peppers. So Vrabel must see some potential in his growth..

No, it is not just about production.

PRODUCTION
Dugger played while injured last year.
Peppers was out because of personal matters

I would expect Dugger to be better this year since he is hopefully recovered from his injuries.

I thought you had made a typo or were tipsy when you posted... Now I see it was Vrabel who was tipsy when he mentioned Charmin Gonzales and coverage in the same sentence... The only thing Charmin's covering for the next couple of weeks is the trainer's table with his lazy, unprofessional ass.

Do you think he's a good CB or do you think the media/PFF dorks are gas lighting us?

Geesh I don't know TRM... those stupid media dorks and those stupid NFL people.. how could they possibly have voted gonzo an all pro or top 100 player.. he's just so lazy.. ....

Oh yeah I think he's good; so good in fact that based on physical/athletic ability alone, he could become our best CB since Haynes... And that's what so frustrating about all this.

Ha! Ha! You're in mid-season form, captain.

You're angry at Patriots players who can't play, but you're angry with those who can because they're not even better -- and you hate players on other teams even more. Got it!

(Hope you had a good time in Italy!)

We did, thanks! Rome was a bit warmer this time (end of May) than it was our first time there in March 2022... My son, his girlfriend, and almost a half-dozen of his friends did the same cruise in mid-July as my wife & I did, except that they went in reverse: they started in Barcelona and ended in Rome, where they said by then it was real Hot! Glad we went when we did then.

Yes, Rome can be really, really hot!

Not my favourite city, but I'll never forget going there with my old fellow to try to find the lamppost in the Via Internazionale that he bumped into, having underestimated the potency of Frascati when he was there in the war.

That needle is stuck a long time with Captain Stoned.

Not sure we'd have it any other way. At the very least we'd all be thinking he was hacked.
Not for nothin' but Sam should be takin' notes from our Capt, that's how *****in' is done
