How is that? If the Bengals win, the Pats are the 4th seed. If the Bengals lose, they are the 3rd seed. Unless the Jets are guaranteed the 5th seed if they win, I don't know if the opponent is set in stone because if the Jets lose the Ravens are definitely the 5th seed.

Well, I thought that was the only scenario that would make it the case, just didn't think the Jets would have a higher seeding if they won.

It'll probably be once the winner tonight is determined. Either right after the game, or with 5 minutes left if its a blow-out.

Since the NFL/networks like the big-market cities in prime-time, my guess is if the Jets win, Jets @ Bengals will be one of the evening games, putting the Bal @ NE game as an afternoon game. If the Jets lose, New England becomes the prime AFC market.
