I’m not hoping for anything. Don’t put words in my mouth I didn’t say. Facts are facts. Have you been paying attention to Tua the past couple of years? These serious (his weren’t the minor kind) type of concussion things don’t really get better by getting hit every week. Even if he is healthy he’s no Joe Burrow or Herbert or even a top 10 of AFC QB’s.

Neither is Mac 10 those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Wouldn't say it's drinking any kinda kool-aid. I mean let's be realistic. It's not like Miami and the Jete suddenly turned into the Chiefs. New England finished with around the same record as both teams (plus or minus one game of each) in 2022. Miami hasn't done much and has major question marks this year with health. The Jete add a QB but that comes with its own question marks. New England is making and will continue to make improvements of their own. Have a hard time seeing how New England is far below these two teams. Buffalo is above them but seems likely to backslide a bit this season.

You’re the one who talks like Miami is this win now team with Tua. Never heard me say Pats are win now team with MAC10. They will improve through the draft and maybe trades and they are not a bottom dweller. I will take that bet.

Well if we flounder to a 7-10/8-9 record again and limp into 2024 with only Billy's quest to pass the hated Shula as something to which we should look forward, then for the sake of the T-E-A-M (a concept which Billy has forgotten or ignored) he needs to be Fired before that's allowed to happen.

I believe your 100% correct.. now by all means by if BB was asked to step down he still is 1st ballot HOF coach.. what i truly believe is that when RK sided with BB on the decision with the GOAT it was done Primarily because RK believes in BB and felt he could create another winner. Now 2021 it looked like we had something... 2022 needs no mention..

However the reality is.. the more we look mediocre and fail to make the playoffs the more validation there will be for the Pre and post Brady discussion. Again doesn't mean he isn't a great coach by any means..

His QB rating (75.7) would rank him 32nd in the NFL among qualifying quarterbacks.

The only guy below him? Zach Wilson (77.2)

The Jets had the worst quarterback situation in the league last year. Rodgers is objectively a massive upgrade.

After reading through the some of the posts on this thread, I can't help but think that our current team aggravates the **** out of some "fans". I can certainly try to understand why and can empathize with those who might feel this way. However if this team and its management sucks so bad why then why chase the aggravation? Perhaps golf might be a better choice on Sundays as long as you don't put too many balls in the woods or the water. Or if it's too cold to play golf then perhaps banging your head against the wall if you get bored might be a better choice.

Seriously though, has anyone ever thought that A Rod actually belongs on the Jet's? That A-Hole is a perfect fit for Jets! Consider these possibilities: He struggles and is replaced by Wilson and they have a losing season or the deal with the devil is successful and they win the SB but have to wait another 55 Years for the next one. Either possibility might or might not happen but it does keep happy thoughts alive while we wait for the Pat's to rebuild. . .

Tua to Hill and Waddle is one of the best passing combinations in the NFL. Tua was reasonable his rookie season with DeVante Parker as his WR1 (and Parker was the best WR on their depth chart by far that season). Tua was better in year two with Parker and Waddle (in his rookie season). Tua was great in 2022 with Hill and Waddle, both of whom are WR1s. I think Hill is the second best WR in the NFL (behind only Jefferson). Tua was bad in the Green Bay game but I'm pretty sure he was playing with a concussion and he was inactive for the rest of the season. The only other game he was bad in all season was the Cincinnati game where he was also knocked out with a concussion.

Bottom line, while Tua individually may be no Burrow or Herbert, the combination of Tua, Hill & Waddle are pretty close to Burrow, Chase & Higgins, and possibly better than Herbert, Allen & Williams. All three of those QB+WR combinations are much better than Mac, JuJu & Parker.

Nah, they're too busy complaining about their 4th place children and their 4th place spouse living in their 4th place home to attempt to do something as demanding as hitting a ball with a stick and chasing it around, it'd just give them something more to complain about.

I agree he is past his prime and the Jets are over extending themselves here but we all know why they are doing it. It is a last ditch effort for Joe Douglas and Robert Salah to keep their jobs. Joe Douglas hasn't been a terrible GM the last couple years but whiffing that badly at QB has basically made this a make or break year. At this point it really is the only thing he can do with the position he put himself in at QB.

So you're hoping Tua get concussed because that the only way we are beating Miami yeah I get it. Side note they got Jalen Ramsey who's a really good CB to help that Defense they have a win now Team.

A Damien Harris fumble away from at least having a win against tua.. lol yeah I remember when we were once a win now team. I can't even really say we are rebuilding anymore. Becuase rebuilding teams typically get better each season.. the best comparison I can use is JAX.. that's where the team should be at right now!
