BB wasted last season.Patriots will not win more than 7 games this year. We now have the toughest schedule in the NFL in the toughest division in football. Knowing Bill we will not be picking at 14 and it will not be a WR, sorry. You cannot teach an old dog new tricks... Sad long year coming, but that is my opinion.
Not gonna act like AR is a bum QB or anything like that, definitely makes them a legit playoff contender and bumps the Pats to probably the 4th best team in the division. I still think the Pats will be there fighting for playoff contention at the end of the year, anything can happen.
The Jets went from having $8M to spend, including for draft picks, to -$24M to spend. Their offensive line is already in sad state and needs serious investment or the old man QB isn't going to last three games. Something's gotta give that will significantly weaken the team, either this year or in the coming years. Stupid time to play "all in" and give up cap in coming years with Buffalo being very strong for the next couple of years.

From the sound of Groh, feels like they will take WR in the later rounds and go with best available in the first.. just my thoughts... while we are witnessing the final years of the championship era it would be nice to have some pieces in place for mayo to have resonate his message when he takes over.Actually, I rescind my prior post now that you mention this. They're probably gonna take a tackle, aren't they...
Pats about to finish last in the division unless Tua is concussed by October
who are the QBs in next years draft?
Zach Wilson’s mom seems happy
Drinking the Patriot kool-aid lately? Well the glass is half full. I hope you are correct! All these news articles about how the Patriots are the worst in the division (I saw one that said they're "the doormats of the AFC East") will be really great locker room material for Bill all season long. They love the "nobody believes in us" card. What's funny is that I don't think they're really so much worse, or necessarily even worse at all.
- The Bills are clearly declining and it feels like Diggs is on track for some kind of drama. They barely beat the Dolphins with their 3rd string QB and then got smoked by Cincinnati. How good are they really?
- The Jets got Rodgers, but he didn't look that great last year and is another year older. He was "90% retired" this offseason. They need to make cuts just to absorb his salary and their OL isn't great. Their defense is solid but how much better are they overall than the sub.-500 team last year just because they added an old Rodgers?
- The Dolphins were hot to start the year but then spiraled down. Tua's health is a massive question mark and I wonder if McDaniel's coaching flavor is going to wear out in year 2. They did put up a good fight against Buffalo in the wild card, but I wonder what that's worth. The Patriots also put up a good fight against Buffalo a week prior when the Bills were riding their Damar Hamlin emotional high and may have won that game if not for some kickoff blunders.
I don't see how the Bills or Dolphins have gotten demonstrably better. The Jets do improve at QB, but at what cost? Meanwhile, New England's coaching revamp and hopefully improved line play will pay dividends on offense, and they've brought back almost their entire defense which was very solid last season. I don't have reason to believe today that the Patriots are necessarily BETTER than any of these teams, but I wouldn't be shocked if they're all pretty tight halfway into the year, or if one severely underachieves and it's not NE.
2021 we were trending in the right direction, 2022 that got rerouted..Play to win the game.
Compete for a SB. The Jets only other option was to draft another QB. Look what we are going through.
Blasphemy coming from you.Coaching will get the Pats to 10-7 or so, which should be enough to fight for a 7th seed.
