Well, you to me there. In fact, Damien Harris said in his post game press conference that he fumbled the ball near the goal line rather than giving what probably would have been the game winning drive for Patriots because he knew Tua would have taken the ball and scored anyway.

The fact is the Patriots have had trouble beating the Dolphins since before Brady left. They rarely ever win in Miami even with Brady. That is the reason why Tua is undefeated against the Patriots. Three of his four wins were in Miami. The one win in Foxboro was the game where Harris fumbled what probably would have been the game winning drive away on the Miami 9 yard line with three minutes left down 17-16 in Mac Jones’ first game of his career.

The Pats werent winning the SB, but with decent QB play could have at least won a post season game. This season you must allow Corky Mac to win the starting job.

They'll find a way to make it work for this year, next year be damned. Giants were much improved last year. Yankees are always front page news and even the Mets are off to a good start. Rangers and Knicks are both in the playoffs. Woody was staring down being the sixth most relevant professional team in his own CITY this year. They needed a splash and they'll be happy in 2023. Don't think they're going to look back on it fondly in five years though.

More to consider:

* WHY is Rodgers doing this now, a few weeks after he went into isolation to decide whether to retire or keep playing?
* All the pressure will be on his shoulders to deliver a playoff run.
* He hates the media and just placed himself in the world's media capital.
* He turns 40 soon and is not exactly what you'd call a workout warrior.
* He's a self-centered diva who routinely throws teammates under the bus when things go bad.
* His personal life is not what anyone would consider "stable."
* His backup is just like him only younger and less talented.
* He will be acclimating himself to an entirely new team and new offense despite familiarity with the OC.

Well worth questioning: will Rodgers truly go "all in" and apply himself, or coast? Also, will he be physically capable of delivering a full season, especially behind a suspect OL?

From the sound of Groh, feels like they will take WR in the later rounds and go with best available in the first.. just my thoughts... while we are witnessing the final years of the championship era it would be nice to have some pieces in place for mayo to have resonate his message when he takes over.

They need to make cuts just to absorb his salary and their OL isn't great. Their defense is solid but how much better are they overall than the sub.-500 team last year just because they added an old Rodgers?
- The Dolphins were hot to start the year but then spiraled down. Tua's health is a massive question mark and I wonder if McDaniel's coaching flavor is going to wear out in year 2. They did put up a good fight against Buffalo in the wild card, but I wonder what that's worth. The Patriots also put up a good fight against Buffalo a week prior when the Bills were riding their Damar Hamlin emotional high and may have won that game if not for some kickoff blunders.

I don't see how the Bills or Dolphins have gotten demonstrably better. The Jets do improve at QB, but at what cost? Meanwhile, New England's coaching revamp and hopefully improved line play will pay dividends on offense, and they've brought back almost their entire defense which was very solid last season. I don't have reason to believe today that the Patriots are necessarily BETTER than any of these teams, but I wouldn't be shocked if they're all pretty tight halfway into the year, or if one severely underachieves and it's not NE.

I've said this many times the jets have the best defense in the NFL. They have the formula to beat Allen. Erase Diggs with sauce, and relentlessly pressure Allen all game. You'd think we'd follow the same model. So I have to give them credit there. Other than that your right on everything else you've mentioned.
