Was there an announcement? Was he activated?
If not is there a cutoff for activation?

As we play Monday night, I believe the deadline to activate is by 4pm tomorrow.

Re: Is Shane Vereene playing?

Yes, he'll be active. Get a good night's sleep, now.

Re: Is Shane Vereene playing?

He's playing for sure. He might be on a snap count at most, to ease him back in after the
two-months off.

I don't know why he wouldn't. It isn't like he had a lower body injury. There was little doubt he would be back once his IR status ended. His wrist was probably healed several weeks ago.

I agree. We want him as game ready as possible for the game with Denver. Not, that BB would look ahead, but it makes sense to plan accordingly.

I was corrected by Reiss- he says Monday 4pm is the deadline to activate Vereen.

Knowing our luck, he'll probably get put on IR and we'll bring back Mike Cloud.

Any media types report whether or not Vereen was on the flight to Carolina?

Not as far as I know (and I follow quite a few on twitter). I find that interesting, you'd think at least someone would have reported on that.

I always figured these reports were done by reporters watching as the players board the bus but if it is something the team reports it might not have to report Vareen as he is not on the active 53 yet????

You would think they would make a note of it because Vereen is such a key part of the offense.

I feel that if he made the trip, it's pretty much a guarantee that he'll be activated for tonight as we know this team doesn't like to carry around dead weight.

The answer is yes...

Adam Schefter ? @AdamSchefter
Patriots RB Shane Vereen will be active for tonight's game. Patriots plan to ease him in after he has missed... http://fb.me/2GA7ffxr3

The passing offense will be at full strength for the first time this season.

also helps keep the dogs off of brady .... with this option out of the backfield, they just can't tee off

But now we can't fantasize about our unstoppable full-strength offense!

It will be nice to see a Angle Route out of our Backfield from time to time. Defense pick your poison.
