I respect Tomlin, but I'd pass on him. He's not a "Patriots kind of guy" and has said as much publicly.

I also think that tigers don't change their stripes. Josh is the best Offensive Coordinator in the league and belongs in the Patriots Hall of Fame, but he didn't last two full seasons with two different organizations as HC. Once could have been a fluke. Twice and I think the handwriting's on the wall. For whatever reason(s), he hasn't succeeded in multitasking as an NFL Head Coach. Let's not be the third team to figure that out.

YES! And I'd say the Hernandez situation was even bigger because of lives lost.. but as you perfectly stated deflategate..& spy gate... the Hernandez situation we all understand was a off the field things sadly.. however the other 2 situations were directly orchestrated by the NFL.. Vrabel's " really nothing " situation is fueled directly by the media and on the league level he's already dodged the biggest hurdle.. as the NFL a month ago said they aren't any longer looking into it.

Thats all fine and dandy and makes sense to me but what if Josh takes off and they win the SB? Gonna demote him for Vrabel? Doubtful. Those types of things usually don't seem to work out.

I just don’t count on him doing that. I’ve seen Josh enough as a head coach.
