Patriots Rumor Is Mike’s job security in any danger now? (Vrabel Allegedly Caught Kissing Russini in New Photos 6-Years Ago)

A report indicating the Patriots are potentially in the market for this player, or have expressed or plant to express interest.
Did the same holier-than-thou people here who are now calling for Vrabel to be fired, demand that the Patriots trade Tom Brady when he left a pregnant Bridget Moynahan in 2007? Were they throwing a hissy fit when the Pats signed Aqib Talib or LeGarrette Blount? How did you handle the Pats drafting Willie McGinest?

And how in the world did you remain Patriots fans after Aaron Hernandez murdered three people?

Yeesh, get a life.

I feel like the tweet only becomes suspicious in retrospect. It was a pretty wholesome tweet without this context overlayed on top. It's not like she was speaking in code, she was just talking about her son and the league she covers.
It's exactly like she's speaking in code

Some in a negative way, some in a positive way.

Stephon Diggs was one of our big FA signings last off-season.

Bet he didn't want to go somewhere where the Christian Sharia had the run of the place.
To you it may be "Christian Sharia" to attempt to remain faithful to your vows. But if you do slip up and fall, to at least be honest about it. It's right to be disappointed in him and how he's handled this. I still hope he and his wife can repair things and that he can remain and be the great coach that he's been.

Different situation. Brady wasn't married and having an affair

I was making a hypothetical point about how a potential FA who doesn't participate in the institute of marriage and has three women carrying his offspring at the same time might not want to go to a place that implements Sharia-like policies.

My own view is along the lines of "Judge not, lest ye be judged", something I am told a famous middle-eastern philosopher once said. I try to remain as open-minded as I can be, and not rush to conclusions. I accept that there are many approaches to life, and that I don't have all the answers, nor does anyone else.

Interesting way of selecting some sins to condemn, and others to ignore.

Moving beyond Brady & Bridget, please respond to the other players I mentioned.

John 7:24

There are some standards that we should attempt to live by. We are all sinners. So none of us are immune to sin. But we should say this is wrong, disappointing, harmful to himself, his family and the team etc. And Christians, some of whom are on this team are no doubt praying for Vrabel right now.

Every sin condemns us. Even my smallest white lie is enough to condemn me to Hell for eternity, because God is Holy and he must punish sin. If he didn't punish sin, then he wouldn't be Holy. At the same time, God sent his son to die for sinners, such as myself.

But back to football, every team is full of sinners. We all know that. But can the team be effective despite this? And obviously some sins have farther reaching effects and worse effects on a team. And unfortunately, this situation could potentially hurt more than others, or maybe less than others mentioned by you

I don't want Vrabel to be fired but the comparison to Brady is idiotic.

Brady was banging his girlfriend, both of whom were single. A married Vrabel was banging his married mistress.

Just when I thought there could be no dumber comparison, you managed to lower the bar somewhat....

When it rains it pours.

When will woman # 3 show up?

Religion, just like politics, has no place here. Please refrain accordingly.

Big Mike even said he is an *******…if it’s confirmed they’ve been bumping uglies for the past 6 years under everyone’s noses, it would fall under the ******* category so….nothing so see here! :O

But we should say this is wrong, disappointing, harmful to himself, his family and the team etc.

My take is that we should let him figure out what is right or wrong for him and his family, based on his own value system and life experiences, with the family's input as well as professional counselors.

In my case my parents are divorced and their choice to divorce was right and it was helpful to all involved, despite what some religious leaders and/or pearl clutchers and/or their books might have said.

Maybe this test makes them stronger as a unit, or maybe it makes them realize it's time for a new phase of life.

The traditional family unit works for some, and not for others.

Lol all I have done the whole time is give him the benefit of the doubt and not jump to conclusions. Seems many are eager to try to think of the very worst possible interpretation, then treat that imagined situation as if it is a definitive fact, and then speak down to anyone else with any less harsh of a view.
