Is it me? Or is the new Lamar Hunt Trophy ugly?

I thought so last year and still think so. I like the older ones better. Was it another one of goodell's wonderful ideas?

I think its the second most beautiful trophy that exists.

It would make more sense(or at least look better) if it was like a PIECE of the Superbowl trophy and whichever team wins could join the Conference Championship trophy with the Lombardi to COMPLETE the trophy. Sort of Click or slide it in the bottom and you've got a beautiful Lombardi connected to what i'm hoping is the AFC Piece completing the bottom.

I think it looks wonderful in the Patriots trophy case, but would look horible in any of the other 15 possible locations.

Do people stay up at night thinking up things to complain about?

Apparently... Even Kraft doesn't like this thing..

On Saturday night, Kraft hosted a small party at his home and the team's six AFC trophies were all on hand. He would have been happy to add a duplicate trophy, but this year's will stand out because of its "more modern" look.

"I was married to the same woman for 48 years," Kraft said. "I'm probably going to get fined, but I really don't care. If [Tom] Brady said he sucked, I'm going to tell you the truth, I like old ones better than this.".

Totally agreed. It looks cheap and flimsy. I really liked the retro look of the old one.

Just cause they want it doesnt mean they wont find it just as ugly.

The more trophies the Patriots collect this season the better. I can think of two more that will go quite nicely with the Lamar this season.
