is Aqib Talib the dirtiest player in nfl history?

They are both POS. Miami has taken out multiple QB's his season. Including Grop. Denver and Miami are just a few of the dirtiest teams this year. And, can you believe HardBawl pulling some variation of the ineligible receiver)? BS... It's time to, once again, hoist the Lombardi over dipshit, GoToHells cranium. It's the only satisfaction we (Fans, TB, BB) have. Kill Em All!!

I guess it depends on what the criteria for dirty is. If it's strictly on the field...then maybe. If its off the field Rae Caruth had his pregnant girlfriend murdered and Hernandez is a serial killer. Marvin Harrison likely shot a guy outside his bar, Pac-Man shot up a night club and Ray Lewis likely stabbed someone. His shooting does put him in this group although he claimed self defense.

more like the most awesome player in NFL history.

MY GRANDMAMMA GAVE ME THAT CHAIN

He would've caught these hands for popping my chain

can't expect you younger guys to understand but, I SAW Conrad Dobler play. At the time, in a league of legal headhunters and cheap shot artists, Dobler was head and shoulders ABOVE every other player in the league. He broke legs, ripped up knees, punched and bit players in pileups, started fights every game and generally flaunted the rules of sportsmanship.

"Conrad Dobler would intentionally hurt people on the football field. He would illegally do certain things, which developed into a habit. He never cared, nor did he say sorry for his intentional actions ever in his career. Dobler made three Pro Bowls, but along the way, he made many enemies. His own teammates weren’t too fond of him, knowing not to push his buttons too much. If they did, he would get violent with them."

Uh, dirty? No, Talib is not a dirty playerr. A punk? yeah. I don't know if he's the biggest punk in NFL history.

I played in the day (early 70's) when you could hit the QB 2 full steps after he threw, and THEN it was considered late. And my best defensive move against RB's out of the backfield would be to throw a forearm at their throat as they started to turn upfield on me. All perfectly legal, and THEN you were taught the dirty stuff. Very little of the "dirty stuff" they do now would be even considered mildly dirty back in the day.

But it should also be remembered that back then players took care of a lot of things themselves. They essentially self regulated a lot of things that now they expect the refs to take care of. You didn't ***** to a ref if he missed something, you or your teamates took care of it, and when it was done, y9u moved on. Not many grudges were held, it was just part of the game. There is a lot to be said about players..."self-regulating".

Slightly OT, and it's probably been discussed elsewhere, but it was great seeing Blount go after Suh today

It's nice to have some guys with a chip in their shoulders, and Blount certainly seems to be one of them

or just a generic scumbag?

the eye gouging, the shootings, the intentionally trying to hurt people, the attempted murder in the superbowl, and today starts a scuffle with crabtree, grabs crabtrees necklace and rips it.

Talib is grad A horse ****.
I dont think Talib is dirty player. With that integrity stuff godell is running, if Talib is dirty Godell would punish him for sure. So if Godell is not punishing him that means that he is not dirty and kids can do stuff like their role models.
The most valauable lesson that i learned from Godell. I can beat a **** out of a woman, but i have to make sure that there is no camera filming me. Integrity.

that was a ****y move to pull the guys gold chain off but I also don't understand why the guy is wearing jewelry on a football field...Aqib Talib is a hot head and that's why the bucs traded him but he is also the best CB in the NFL after Sherman

Yes, that is true but Suh is dirtiest in last 30 years.

Suh is dirty but Romanowski will always own that title.

Amended, Tatum was filthy, then Romanowski.

Talib is a punk but players should not be allowed to use neck chains and ear rings in a game, that can cause some serious injury someday.

Disagree. The Spitter vs The Stomper. Roid rage vs Twisted Heart. No contest.

I dont think Talib the "worst" anything, He is a very good corner, a punk and douche certainly but not the worst dirty player or even punk out there today or in NFL history.

I personally think modern day TJ Ward, Suh, Burfict, Finnegan, Swearinger, James Harrison, Pollard, Goldson?

OK maybe Talib is the worst "Eye Poker"? LMAO.

Talib is more bark than bite. He can be taken out by the likes of Wes Welker. He is chripping more since he joined the Broncos.

Give me a break, he's like Edelman on the field and all his off-field stuff is either justified or extremely nebulous with the details. I wish we could have found a way to keep him instead of Revis.

Oh, I see it was in history...let me revise

Tatum
Romanowski
Burfict
Raiola
Pollard

Suh is working his way up the list, that's for sure.

For me Tatum had too much talent to make this list. No one could deliver a hit like Tatum. I can't penalize him for that.

I recognize my bias is because of the Stanley Morgan hit, but the fact he felt no remorse over it just made him a complete ******* in my book.

Well, given that Revis was healthy for the playoffs and Talib wasn't, I'll take it.
