Irvin was plagiarizing/paraphrasing Bum Phillips' famous quote there. Dude could have at least attributed that and not passed it off as his own.

Good old Bum Phillips. That guy was pure gold. I actually liked those late 70's Oilers team with Earl Campbell. The other quote from Bum that I loved was basically "his test scores say he is a dummy but when he hits you he looks like Albert Einstein".
