I would say Vereen was more of a receiver than a true running back. He ran great routes and had great straight line speed. Lewis is more of a true running back, he's more elusive than Vereen or Woodhead but probably not as durable since he's smaller and not as "thick". I think Faulk is a very apt comparison.


Faulk was definitely thick. That is the only area where I see a difference between Lewis and Faulk.
 
Pretty sure either of these guys would be doing as well with the Pats this year.

Agreed, the big difference is that the giants are paying Vereen like 5 million a year
 
Jamie Collins already has 3.5 sacks, that's a .5 sack less than what he had all year last year. While early, his projected pace is 21 sacks.

My math comes to 18.6

Yeah, that's a definite difference. Just thinking play/running style.
