I have noticed an atribute of our current players that mirrors something that was admirable about BB. The constant drive to get better. Nothing encapsulate that better than this interaction between Coach and Williams. I see same thing with Diggs, Jones, Boutte. They want to get better, they are not satisfied with just a win. This is scary for the rest of the NFL.
this interaction fills me with so much joy.

What I really loved was Williams’ body language as Vrabes walked away. Hands on hips, calm expression. Just a routine day at the office, telling the boss how things are. NBD.

I thought the Williams signing has likely an overpay - but because NE needed talent so much, I didn’t really care. Little did I realize, he might’ve been a bargain. This clip is gold. As is Williams’ play + attitude.

I hear BB speak slip into Vrabel's pressers all the time. Even something as small as the hugs at the door reminds of the way Bill used to circle the locker room and give everyone pats on the back.

The look on Milton’s face and that on Vrables is the perfect balance this team needs at this time.
One is managing and leading a young and potentially good team. The other is one who knows what it takes to win it all at the players level. I am encouraged .

All I know from observations: this Team is going to be a very a Very Tough Playoff out barring key injuries. I don't think there's game they can't win and there's still room for improvements.

The Old Dynasty years BB and not the latter: the one who was shown the door.

Not sure;

If you made me give one back; I would have a really tough time deciding who was the bigger FA get for this team: Williams or Diggs. The two of them have brought swagger, intensity, and as you say „never stop learning „ back to this team.

BOTH WINNERS. A+ grades.

Stefon Diggs have taken Both K Boutte and Pop Douglas unde his wings. Hopefully Kyle Williams finds a way to get under it.

Josh has them all under his wing. Go check out the way Diggs goes to Josh to celebrate after his touchdown.

I think this is just New England sports mentality, tbh. This was here before BB.

You are tough on Kyle Williams, but you were tough on Hollins. Hollins looks amazing and I am sure Williams will too.
KW have a unique skillset he needs to start showing it. He's playing with a Great QB no excuses.

I think it's just what well coached, good football teams do. They realize they aren't playing at a peak level yet. I don't think it's because of BB or leftover from some long gone value system, nor is it regional. Just trying to get better, and recognizing there's plays to be made still and improvement needed. Williams has been on teams that have played at the highest level possible. He knows what's needed.

Good stuff though.

He was the same guy. It’s ridiculous that people vilify him for a downturn after he sustained success far, far longer than anyone else ever has.

It is inevitable in a league where more than 50% of personnel decisions end up bad, where you compete against 31 other teams under a capped system, that at some point you will have a talent void. That it took 20 years to happen is an incredible achievement not a failure.

right, it’s very common not unique

For ****z & giggles, let's credit Williams with 100% responsibility for defense improvement/decline

Eagles D is giving up 5.3 points more/game than last season.
Patriots D is giving up 6.2 points less/game than last season

Elite value in terms of Money Ball analytics
