Im not too concerned on either. Anyway i think Henderson needs to start getting the majority of carries now so until rham is back the other guy might have 5-10 carries, not too big a deal against considering the next 3 opponents. His pass blocking is my only real concern as i dunno whether Johnson or the other ps backs can block.

Boutte as you said we were in good hands yesterday without him. Obviously we are better with him but again the upcoming schedule certainly allows some flexibility
I think if it were a playoff game, Boutte would have gone yesterday.

I’m worried about over-use with Henderson. It’s a much longer season than college, and he is getting too many runs up the middle in heavy traffic for my liking. I’m worried about his durability. Having the injury scare yesterday just added to my concern. We’re already thin at RB and we saw yesterday he’s a real weapon. Having him available for post season is more important than leaning on him heavily for the remainder of the regular season IMO.

Understood but its only another game or 2. I bet when rham is back he’s probably around 15 total touches

Hasty is on the Phins PS and was in camp earlier over the summer
he might help? can pick up the blitz. catches out of the backfield

Wasn't sure, but was Diggs banged up on the onside kick?

I wondered about him, and Maye on the OOB hit. There’s getting to be a lot of wear and tear on the squad.

If Stevenson’s toe is going to bother him for weeks it would’ve been nice to IR him right away, but that’s 20-20 hindsight now. As it stands anyone placed on IR now couldn’t return until after the Bills game.

IR Stevenson for what purpose?

What RB are we limited from having? We can bring players up from the practice squad. Nobody seems to want any of them.

Even Jennings seemed to be on no one's radar.

Stevenson is different than Jennings. They'll IR Jennings quickly if there's someone they really like and can't get onto the squad.

The NFL should ban these Thursday Night Games: that's Brutal on the Players Bodies. There's no way Players should be playing on Three Days rest: freaking greedy Owners.
The NFL has gotten watered down with too many networks and games. Football on Amazon absolutely sucks. I used to look forward to Al Michaels, but he has taken the paycheck and been sent to the wasteland of NFL games on TNF. They really need to get rid of this. No more Saturday night football as well. And enough of the overseas games.

I get the Thursday night complaint the short turnaround makes for a bad product but I don't understand what's wrong with other networks getting involved and the Saturday nights? I

Is there some benefit that I'm not aware for the fan experience to having the games air at the same time?

Without Thursday, Saturday, Sunday morning, Sunday night, Monday night, double Monday nights I would only get to watch half the games that I get to watch now.

We had several injuries against Tampa Bay, some possibly serious others apparently minor. We also had several players out for this game due to injuries. I thought it would be useful to have a thread to keep track of them all, and discuss.

I may overlook some, so please add any that I omit. Here’s my summary at the moment:

PREVIOUSLY OUT

Boutte - hammy, grade 1 strain, projected return unknown
Stevenson- toe, possibly (unconfirmed?) turf toe, projected return unknown

DID NOT RETURN AGAINST TAMPA BAY

Jennings - knee, no additional details
Barmore - back, no additional details

INJURED AND RETURNED AGAINST TAMPA BAY

Henderson - shaken up, in game commentary suggested concern but later ran for 66 yard TD
Hawkins - shaken up, returned to make key fourth down stop late in Q4

Any others? Any word on Barmore or Jennings?
PREVIOUSLY OUT: Elliss

That all but guarantees Hooper will be out. I think it takes more than 3 days to get through the protocol in the best case scenario.
