I don't like the fact that Deaderick is out. Could be hurt who knows but if he is not, with the team already thin on the D line, I take him being inactive as a perceived negative on the kid. I hope I'm wrong.
That suggests to me that we will see more 4-3 base looks with the OLBs lining up at end. Though I would expect the Pats to be in sub packages most of the time anyway.
We wouldnt play 43 base with OLBs at DE, but we only use 2 DL in nickel (with the OLBs lining up like DEs)
I wouldnt worry much. We only play base on half the plays, so Warren-Wilfork-Brace can handle playing the base and rotating in and out in the sub.
We have also been playing dime with 1 true DL.
Perhaps a busy day for them, but not something they cant handle.
Bad news with Deaderick. He's looked solid this year for a 7th round rookie. Good to see Fragile Freddy healthy (or as healthy as he's going to be) and working the kinks out against Detroit.

Where did I say that? I said Deaderick being out IS bad news. He's played DE in our base 3-4 a lot this season. Same for Wright and Pryor who are two good pass rushers on the D-Line.
