I'm Worried...

Its the same song, second verse from the Super Bowl. We're getting beat at the LOS. Outphysicaled. Outmuscled. Our defensive front is a little better, but given our weakness in the back 7, our defensive line needs to dominate which right now they're not.

My ONLY solace is the 2004 preseason game in Cincinnati where we got pushed around just like this. We went on to become World Champions that year.

Still, I'm worried, and I'm uneasy.

I'd say just focus on this part and advocate some patience. As others have said, pre-season is for evaluation, not for a**-whoopings. We wait for the regular season to hand those out.

I am concerned about our OLine a little bit but that is more tied to health. I wouldn't worry too much about the d-line. Don't forget how vanilla everything is right now. I imagine that can make a significant difference in how they attack our d-line. You can probably get a better push and do things more effeciently if you are not worried about exotic schemes and where the extra bodies are.

To me the only difference between the CINN game and last nights game is the fact the PATS played CINN later in the year.. We looked slow tackling and a few times, guys were putting their heads down and the opposing player went right around them..


Preseason is all about execution and the pats have looked HORRIBLE..
