Elway is one of the best GMs in the league. As great of a head as Belichick is, as a GM he's just a good one.

That's what makes it all the more frustrating.

So many inexplicably weird decisions from the New England Patriots helped push the Denver Broncos to the #1 seed and ultimately into a Super Bowl championship.

If handing them the #1 seed wasn't enough, once they actually got to the AFCCG (after barely beating a Steelers team with no Bell, Brown, Williams, hurt Roethlisberger) it takes an epic failure by our o-line (game-play wise & preparation), a super rare missed XP, and questionable 4th down decisions -- just to let them squeak into the SuperBowl.

Don't even get me started on the amount of wild, fluke occurrences throughout the regular season that helped Denver win games. Including one of the most absurdly corrupt sports games I've ever witnessed (Pats/Broncos week 12), right up there with the Lakers/Kings series in 2002.

To top it all off, the bounces, calls and weird sh*t that went their way seemingly every few minutes of the SuperBowl were just mind blowing.

Many of us have moved on ...
It could have been us ... and it hurts.
But Denver deserves the win ... #1 seed in the AFC wins ... that's a great season.
IMO makes us look like sore losers to not give them some credit.

Um Miller was the 2nd pick overall because the Broncos were not competitive the previous year. Should the Pats tank a couple of seasons so they can guys like that? I'd prefer being in it every year. It all comes down to health and the Pats weren't healthy this year.

thats on BB.....he coached scared down the stretch

Von Miller was the MVP (I presume) but Danny Trevathan made the most valuable play with that fumble recovery. A Panthers TD there might have made all the difference.

Who knows if we win this game if it was us but we definitely would have had a chance if we just played a decent game. Anybody assuming we get blown out because the panthers are this unstoppable force were clearly wrong. Had we found a way to get past the broncos, we very well could have won our 5th championship. Hell, if we decided to take HFA seriously we would have................I'm not even gonna go there again but I'm still beyond annoyed at that idiotic decision.
