Me Too....

This. McD has to have some say in that dept. He can pick wr's well enough. Which dl is the question.

The more that I read about this Hunt guy, the more that I like. I wouldn't be upset if BB takes him. He would be a better 2nd round pick though.
I'm torn between end or tackle. It's hard to know what the Patriots are going to get from Armond Armstead and Tommy Kelly. If Armstead simulates Cameron Wake and brings his best football from the CFL to the NFL and Tommy Kelly recaptures his best NFL football, then the Patriots will be four-fifths of the way to building something special up front. I'm not necessarily sure that drafting a lineman will alleviate whatever concerns it is we have, but it'll add another body to the rotation, another body the opposition will have to plan for. Take your pick of the names available. They're all needed.

I have more faith in Tom Brady making a receiver with minimal talent look like an All Pro than I do hoping the Patriots will be able to keep their DL group in tact thanks to unforeseen circumstance.

As Gisele would say, Tom Brady can't ****ing throw the ball AND catch the ball at the same time. We need wide receivers!!!

While I consider WR to be the team's biggest need, I've got to go with

"It depends on who's on the board."

Everything I'm reading says that if you're not getting an early pick, the value between 20-50 is really deep and even. So given that NE has a relative shortage of picks this year, I'm leaning more and more to them trading out of #29 and getting an additional pick in that range.

Unless, of course, they don't.

this is the way I see things playing out.....

in round 1, WR value will be poor at #29.......but DE Bjorn Werner will have fallen to the pats.......

in round 2, again....no WR worth taking.....but CB Jonathan Banks will have fallen to the pats....

in round 3, Ryan Swope is the obvious choice......

and that's how its going to play out
