Let me quote something I posted in another thread.

The o-line shouldn't be this bad. There is talent on it. Maybe not great talent but not this. Honestly, how are they this bad? Is it coaching? Scheme? It doesn't make sense. Especially since we are using Gronk as an extra blocker on tons of plays.

I cannot fathom how they are playing at such an atrocious level. It boggles the mind.

BB playing rope-a-dope?

Add in Vollmer who will help out in terms of communication and shore up one of the tackle positions and suddenly SJax will actually be able to get to the LOS untouched more often than not and get to do there what he does.

If we can't get the quick passing game going then nothing will matter any way.

We all have heard all of this so often but its true. There is a trickle effect to all of that.

Agreed that there's an obvious trickle effect to the entire offense, and that if things get going as we're used to, SJax could have a very positive effect. I just haven't seen anything yet that sways me to agree with the comments about "liking what we've seen" out of Jackson with 21 carries for 50 total yards.

Miami played the majority of the first half in nickle sets, didn't they? So, maybe I'm not agreeing with the stacked box theory as much as you do, although one would have to imagine that they did stack the box once they realized that we weren't going to bother throwing. I suppose I'm a bit reserved in terms of what I expect from Jackson, although we don't really need all that much when you think about it. Personally, I think he may be the wild card that determines how far we go in this year's postseason.
