I was a regular on the old ESPN boards and I remember NEInsider and all the wild speculation who it was, a reg on that forum even thought it was a BB burner account lol.

Could have been a troll but that's a lot of effort to troll. Guessing it was some kind of employee of the organization. Who probably wasn't that close to the football side. But it was fun to speculate anyway...
